데상트(DESCENTE)가 11월 2일 열린 2025 JTBC 서울마라톤의 공식 스포츠 스폰서(후원사)로 참여해 러닝씬 중심 브랜드로 입지를 강화했다. 올해 대회는 상암월드컵경기장에서 출발해 잠실 올림픽공원에서 피니시하는 풀코스(42.195km)와 10km 종목으로 진행됐고, 총 3만4,000명이 참가해 역대 최고 규모를 기록했다.

이번 대회에서 데상트는 참가자들에게 기능성 싱글렛과 레이스 스포츠웨어를 제공했다. 경량성과 통기성, 빠른 흡습·건조 기능을 갖춘 이번 제품은 실제 레이스 환경에서 강점을 발휘하는 것으로 확인돼 참가 러너들 사이에서 긍정적인 반응을 이끌어 냈다. 브랜드는 단순 협찬을 넘어 실전 퍼포먼스를 테스트하고 증명해 내는 장으로 JTBC서울마라톤을 기회로 삼았다는 평가를 받는다.

레이스 결과, 국제 남자 부문 우승은 케냐의 리틀 닉 킷툰두 선수가 2시간 05분 32초로 차지했다. 국내 남자 선수 중에서는 김홍록(한국전력공사) 선수가 2시간 14분 14초로 가장 빠르게 골인했다. 여자 부문에서는 임예진(충주시청) 선수가 2시간 29분 12초로 우승했다. 올해 역시 장애인 및 비장애인 러너가 함께 주행할 수 있는 포용형 대회 형태가 유지돼, 모든 참가자에게 의미 있는 레이스가 되었다.

데상트는 레이스 후원에 앞서 10월 30일부터 11월 2일까지 롯데월드몰에서 ‘데상트 러너스 데이(DESCENTE RUNNER’S DAY)’를 개최했다. 데상트 러닝 커뮤니티 DRC를 비롯해 주요 러닝 크루가 참여한 스페셜 런 이벤트가 진행됐고, 무동력 트레드밀 레이스, 완주 메달 각인 서비스, 신제품 카본 레이싱화 ‘델타프로 EXP V3’ 전시 등이 마련됐다. 마라톤 피니시 라인을 구현한 공간 구성과 조명 연출은 현장 체험 몰입도를 높였다.
