라이프스타일 아웃도어 브랜드 ‘디스커버리 익스페디션’이 론칭 5주년을 기념하여 지난 23일 그랜드 하얏트 서울 호텔에서 첫 브랜드 쇼케이스를 진행했다.
‘아이엠어디스커버러(I AM A DISCOVERER)’라는 주제로 진행된 ‘디스커버리 익스페디션’의 쇼케이스는 국내를 비롯해 전세계 각지에 있는 ‘디스커버러(Discoverer)’ 200여 명이 한자리에 모여 브랜드 가치를 공유하는 새로운 형태의 행사로 진행됐다.
행사는 브랜드의 공식 앰배서더이자 ‘디스커버러’로서 5년째 활동하며 브랜드 정신을 깊이 공감한 배우 공유의 진솔한 스피치로 시작됐다. 이어 아이엠어디스커버러 원정대의 토크쇼와 전세계 밤하늘을 촬영하는 아마추어 사진작가 송준호와의 라이브 페이스 타임(Live face time), 전세계 각지에 있는 디스커버러 원정대 30인의 라이브 영상 상영 등 200여 명의 참여자가 디스커버러로서 겪은 새로운 모험과 경험을 공유하는 뜻깊은 장으로 진행됐다. 특히 이 행사는 브랜드 페이스북 페이지를 통해 생중계 되며 일반인들로부터 큰 호응을 얻었다.
이와 함께 ‘디스커버리 익스페디션’은 2017년 F/W 트렌드를 이끌어 갈 새로운 컬렉션을 선보였다. ‘진화된 리얼웨이’를 테마로 한 이번 컬렉션은 애슬레저와 레트로 감성을 결합한 다양한 다운 아우터와 스트리트 감성을 더한 블루종 아이템 등으로 구성돼 감각적이면서도 실용성 있는 리얼웨이 룩을 제시했다.
