무신사 스탠다드, ‘롯데 평촌점’ 오픈…오프라인 매장 30호점 돌파

무신사(대표 조만호 박준모)의 모던 베이식 캐주얼웨어 브랜드 ‘무신사 스탠다드(MUSINSA STANDARD)’가 30호점을 돌파하며 오프라인 패션 시장에서 입지를 강화하고 있다.

서른 번째 무신사 스탠다드 매장은 롯데백화점 평촌점 1~2층에 오늘(10월 2일) 문을 연다. 올해에만 열한 번째로 선보이는 신규 매장이다.무신사 스탠다드는 2021년 홍대점을 오픈하며 오프라인 시장에 처음 진출했다. 이후 1년 만인 2022년 강남점을 성공적으로 열어 브랜드 경쟁력과 성장 가능성을 입증했다. 2023년부터는 대구 동성로점을 오픈하며 지방권 주요 거점 공략을 본격화했다.

최근에는 서울 외 지역 핵심 상권으로 진출을 가속화하고 있다. 현재 경기∙인천 지역에서는 백화점과 대형 쇼핑몰 등에 입점한 숍인숍 매장 12개를 운영 중이다. 또한 올해 현대백화점 울산점(2월), 갤러리아 타임월드점(5월), 커넥트현대 청주점(6월) 등 수도권 외 지역에도 신규 출점을 지속하고 있다. 이에 따라 서울 외 지역 매장 수는 서울 지역보다 2.5배 이상 많아졌다.

이같은 확장세는 실제 고객 반응으로 이어지고 있다. 지난 9월 한 달간 무신사 스탠다드 28개 매장 합산으로 200만 명이 넘는 누적 방문객을 기록하는 등 고객들의 발길이 꾸준히 이어지고 있다. 이번에 신규 오픈하는 롯데백화점 평촌점은 수도권 남부를 대표하는 핵심 상권 중 하나다.

지하철 4호선 범계역과 연결돼 있으며 대규모 주거 단지가 밀집해 안정적인 수요를 갖춘 곳이다. 특히 안양 최대 번화가인 로데오거리와 평촌 학원가와 인접해 1020 세대 젊은 고객층의 유동 인구가 많은 것이 특징이다. 이 같은 상권 특성을 고려해 롯데백화점 평촌점에는 맨, 우먼, 홈, 뷰티, 키즈 등 무신사 스탠다드의 주요 상품군을 선보인다.

롯데백화점 평촌점 오픈을 기념해 오늘(10월 2일)부터 10월 4일까지 3일간 이벤트와 할인 프로모션을 진행한다. 30만원 상당의 인기 상품으로 구성된 ‘슈퍼백’을 49900원에 100개 한정 판매한다. 슈퍼백 이벤트는 스타필드마켓 일산점 오픈 당시 판매 시작 30여 분 만에 매진될 만큼 높은 인기를 끌었다.

또한 무신사 앱 신규 가입 고객 및 구매 고객을 대상으로 한정 할인 혜택을 제공하고, 매장에서 상품 구매 후 앱에서 첫 후기를 작성한 고객에게는 5천 원 적립금을 증정한다.

무신사 스탠다드 관계자는 “매장 방문 후 무신사에 신규 가입한 회원 수는 전년 대비 2배가량 증가할 만큼 오프라인은 신규 고객 확보와 브랜드 경험 확대에 실질적 효과가 있는 핵심 접점”이라며, “더 많은 고객이 무신사 스탠다드를 가까이서 경험할 수 있도록 서울 외 지역으로 매장 확대에 속도를 낼 계획”이라고 말했다.
