라이프스타일 테크 브랜드 키크(keek)를 운영하는 커버써먼(대표 이재호)이 서울 성수동에 이어 한남동에 두 번째 플래그십 스토어를 정식 오픈했다.
지난 8월 성수에 첫 플래그십 스토어를 선보인 키크는 오픈 이후 주요 제품의 판매 성과가 꾸준히 늘어나며, 대표 제품인 목베개·후디 결합형 ‘필로우디(Pillowdy)’가 누적 판매량 10만 장을 돌파하는 등 브랜드의 성장세를 입증했다. 이에 키크는 한남점을 메인 거점으로 삼아 오프라인 확장을 본격화하고 브랜드 경험을 한층 강화할 계획이다.
이번 한남점은 ‘숨쉬는 공간’을 콘셉트로, 키크의 슬로건 ‘기술에 숨을 불어넣다(Tech That Breathes)’를 공간 전반에 구현한 것이 특징이다. 매장에는 필로우디를 비롯해 넥쿠션, 바라클라바, 반려동물용 하네스 등 자체 개발 기술 ‘에어테크(Air Tech)’ 기반의 다양한 제품들이 전시됐다.
특히 매장 2층에는 공기의 주입·배출에 따라 형태가 변하는 ‘에어 소파(Air Sofa)’ 조형물이 설치돼 있어, 에어테크 기술의 원리를 예술적으로 표현하며 방문객들에게 브랜드 철학을 직관적으로 전달한다.
이번 오픈과 함께 키크는 겨울 시즌을 맞아 보온성을 강화한 기모 버전 후드집업과 글로벌 아웃도어 브랜드 ‘컬럼비아(COLUMBIA)’와 협업한 ‘옴니히트 필로우 점퍼(Omni-Heat Pillow Jumper)’를 새롭게 선보인다.
키크는 중국·일본 등 글로벌 여행객들에게 인기 있는 라이프스타일 명소인 한남동의 특성에 맞춰 다국어 안내, 현장 프로모터 운영 등 글로벌 고객 맞춤 서비스를 마련해 해외 고객과의 접점을 넓혀갈 방침이다.
