가장 눈에 띄는 핵심 성과는 70%를 웃도는 압도적인 취업 연계율이다. 협회가 집계한 결과에 따르면, 실전 프로젝트를 수료한 청년 236명 중 73.4%가 실제 채용이나 현장 실습으로 직행하는 성과를 거뒀다. 또한 참여자의 98.6%가 사업 전반에 긍정적인 반응을 보였으며, 사전 직무 교육과 실무 역량 강화 만족도 역시 각각 5점 만점에 4.82점과 4.8점 이상을 기록해 교육의 질적 우수성을 증명했다.
이러한 수치는 9개 참여 기업이 직면한 실제 비즈니스 과제를 11개의 특화 프로젝트(광고·마케팅 5개, 패션 직무 6개)로 세분화해 학생들에게 부여한 실전 중심 전략이 적중한 결과다. 일신여자상업고등학교, 세그루패션디자인고등학교, 성암국제무역고등학교를 비롯해 인천디자인고, 근명고, 부산문화여고 등 전국 주요 특성화고 인재들이 대거 투입돼 전공 지식을 실무에 적용했다. 특히 졸업을 앞둔 3학년(33.5%)뿐만 아니라 1학년(30.9%)과 2학년(35.6%) 등 저학년의 참여 비중을 획기적으로 높여 조기 직무 적응 훈련의 새로운 표준을 세웠다.
시장에서는 이번 성과를 두고 서울(54.7%)을 비롯해 경기·인천(37.7%), 부산·경남(7.6%) 등 전국 단위의 탄탄한 산학 네트워크가 제대로 작동한 결과라고 평가한다. 인재 유치 경쟁이 치열해지는 가운데, 기업들은 이번 검증된 프로젝트를 통해 양질의 신규 인력을 안정적으로 공급받을 수 있는 파이프라인을 구축하게 됐다. 전문가들은 지난해 12월 23일 열린 성과공유회를 기점으로, 이 같은 실무 밀착형 인재 양성 생태계가 향후 패션업계 전반으로 확산될 것으로 내다본다.
