아이디룩(대표 김재풍)이 전개하는 프렌치 컨템포러리 브랜드 A.P.C.(아페쎄)가 롯데백화점 동탄점에 국내 첫 CAFÉ A.P.C.(카페 아페쎄) 매장을 20일(오늘) 오픈한다.
글로벌 첫 CAFÉ A.P.C. 정식 매장이기도 한 롯데동탄 1호점에서는 이번 국내 매장 오픈을 위해 특별히 디자인된 공간과 메뉴, CAFÉ A.P.C.에서만 만나볼 수 있는 굿즈들을 선보일 예정이다.
CAFÉ A.P.C. 롯데동탄점의 공간은 A.P.C.의 매장을 설계해온 건축가 로랑 데루(Laurent Deroo)가 디자인했다. 내추럴한 톤의 우드 소재를 매장 전반에 활용하여 12개의 목재 패널이 중앙 계산대를 둘러싸는 독특한 12각형 공간에 천정까지 연출된 장식적인 목재 디테일이 더해져 어느 각도에서 보아도 특별한 포토 스팟이 연출된다. 벽면 안쪽에 자리 잡은 오목한 형태의 소파 좌석은 ‘사적이고 독립된 소공간’을 뜻하는 프랑스 살롱문화의 ‘알코브(alcove)’에서 영감을 얻었다.
한편, 롯데동탄 1호점에서는 A.P.C.의 디렉터 장 뚜이뚜(Jean Touitou)와 그의 아들이자 파리의 셰프 피에르 뚜이뚜(Pierre Touitou)가 직접 제안한 홈메이드 타입의 프랑스 가정식 메뉴들을 선보인다.
장 뚜이뚜가 딸과 여름 휴가를 보내며 즐겨 마셨던 ‘펜넬 티’, 장 뚜이뚜 집안의 레시피를 그대로 구현한 ‘베이크드 애플’, ‘애플크럼블’ 등 가족들과의 추억이 담긴 색다른 메뉴들은 물론, A.P.C.의 로고가 들어간 레터링 쿠키와 미니 로고 쿠키로 장식된 디저트 등 브랜드 아이덴티티를 담아낸 시그니처 메뉴들을 만날 수 있다.
