한국콘텐츠진흥원(원장 조현래, 이하 콘진원)은 2030 부산 세계박람회 유치 기원을 위해 지난 14일 부산 영화의 전당에서 진행된 ‘2023 청년정책박람회’에서 홍보부스 운영을 성황리에 마쳤다.
9월 16일 청년의 날을 기념해 열린 청년정책박람회는 정부·지자체와 민간 기업이 모여 미래 청년들의 새로운 도약을 위한 계기를 만드는 자리로 마련됐다. 총 2,500여 명의 청년들이 참여한 가운데 가수 권은비, 박재정이 참여한 축하무대를 시작으로 청년정책 홍보·체험 부스, 청년 고민 상담소, 2023 부산 엑스포 유치 기원 K-POP 콘서트 등 다양한 부대행사가 진행됐다.
영화·OST·웹툰 등 K-콘텐츠 분야 청년 창작자 성과 선보여
콘진원은 청년정책 부스에 참가해 대표 청년 지원 사업인 ‘콘텐츠 창의인재동반사업’의 우수 성과들을 전시했다. 2012년부터 시작해 12년간 총 3,653명의 교육생을 발굴한 콘텐츠 창의인재동반사업은 일대일 멘토링을 통해 미래 콘텐츠산업을 이끌어 갈 예비 창작자의 창작 역량 개발과 산업계 진출을 지원하고 있는 인재양성사업이다.
드라마 <이상한 변호사 우영우>의 문지원 작가, 웹드라마 <소년심판>의 김민석 작가, 뮤지컬 <여신님이 보고계셔>의 한정석 작가 등이 이 사업의 교육생 출신으로, 국내외 유수의 영화제 및 공모전에서 수상하며 미래 K-콘텐츠 산업의 주역으로 거듭나고 있다.
이번 박람회에서는 드라마 <재벌집 막내아들>의 OST를 맡은 조병현 작곡가, 웹툰 <견우와 선녀>의 안수민 작가 등 영화 이외의 다양한 분야에서 활약 중인 청년 창작자의 대표성과도 전시되어 눈길을 끌었다.
신기술 융합인재 양성하는 뉴콘텐츠아카데미 소개 및 현장 참여 프로그램 진행
한편, 현장에서 ‘뉴콘텐츠아카데미(NCA)’에 대한 홍보도 진행했다. 뉴콘텐츠아카데미는 콘텐츠 산업현장에서 필요한 신기술 융합형 인재를 양성하기 위해 실무 밀착형 교육을 제공하는 인재양성 프로그램이다. 넥슨, 컴투버스, 한국마이크로소프트, 한국어도비시스템즈, 에픽게임즈 코리아, 유니티코리아 등 신기술 콘텐츠 분야를 선도하는 기업들이 직접 교육 프로그램에 참여한다.
이외에도 현장 부스에서는 청년 희망 엽서, 희망 메시지월 체험, 사업 로고 맞추기 등 프로그램을 통해 총 700명의 참여를 이끌며 K-콘텐츠에 대한 높은 관심을 재확인했다.
콘진원 조현래 원장은 “K-콘텐츠 총괄지원 기관으로서 이번 박람회 참여를 통해 청년 예비 창작자들이 참여할 수 있는 관련 정책들을 적극 알리기 위해 노력했다”라며, “앞으로도 청년들이 K-콘텐츠산업을 이끄는 차세대 글로벌 리더로 성장하는데 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”라고 전했다.
