푸치코리아(지사장 조수현)의 언유주얼 뷰티 브랜드 바이레도(BYREDO)가 지난 11월 13일(목), 서울 잠실 롯데월드몰 1층에 새로운 매장을 오픈했다. 이번 매장은 스웨덴 감성과 한국적 미학이 조화된 공간으로, 향수를 넘어 라이프스타일 전반을 아우르는 브랜드의 철학과 미학을 담아냈다.
롯데월드몰 매장은 ‘고요함에서 끌림으로(From Static to Captivating)’라는 메시지 아래, 정적인 아름다움 속에서 매혹적인 에너지를 드러냈다. 브루탈리즘 건축에서 영감을 받아 대담하고 기하학적인 형태를 강조했으며, 강철·화강암·목재·유리 등의 소재를 사용해 본연의 특성을 나타내면서 견고하고 세련된 미감을 완성했다. 또한 스웨덴 헤리티지와 장인정신을 기반으로 절제된 색채와 질감을 조화롭게 구성해 공간 전체에 강렬한 인상을 더했다.
이번 매장은 건축사무소 서아키텍스(Suh Architects)와의 협업으로 이루어졌다. 스웨덴의 헤리티지와 장인정신에 기반한 간결한 디자인과 한국 전통 고유의 감성을 큐레이션한 형태로, 한옥의 지붕선을 연상시키는 구조를 미학적으로 구현했으며 한국의 문화와 예술을 한 공간에 담았다.
매장 내부는 개방형 구조와 높은 천고를 비롯해 향, 빛, 질감이 어우러지는 몰입형 공간으로 설계되었으며, 브랜드의 철학인 ‘감정과 기억의 연결’을 직관적으로 구현한다. 이를 통해 단순한 리테일 공간을 넘어 머무는 누구나 브랜드가 지향하는 세계를 온전히 경험할 수 있도록 한다.
매장에는 브랜드를 대표하는 향수 컬렉션 블랑쉬(Blanche), 모하비 고스트(Mojave Ghost), 발다프리크(Bal d’Afrique) 등을 비롯해 캔들, 핸드 & 바디 케어 라인 등 다양한 제품군이 전시돼 있다.
이번 서아키텍스와의 협업은 바이레도의 스토리텔링을 한층 확장하는 시도로, 브랜드의 문화적 깊이와 미학을 새롭게 드러낸다. 앞으로도 바이레도는 문화와 정체성의 경계를 탐구하며, 독창적인 크리에이티브를 이어갈 예정이다.
