에프지코리아(대표 오민우)가 강남 고속터미널에 미국 햄버거 브랜드 파이브가이즈 3호점을 오픈했다. 강남 고속터미널은 서울을 왕래하는 사람들이 전국 각지에서 모이는 곳으로 유동인구가 하루 수십 만명에 달한다.

에프지코리아 관계자는 “강남과 여의도에 이어 파이브가이즈가 서울과 지방과의 교두보 역할을 하는 교통요충지에 오픈함에 따라 아직 점포가 없는 서울 외 지역 고객들의 매장 접근성이 한층 높아질 것으로 기대된다”라고 설명했다.
오는 4월에는 부동산 개발∙운영회사인 한화커넥트가 운영하는 서울역사 마켓존 2층에 4호점을 오픈한다. 명실상부 서울의 중심인 서울역은 직장인∙관광객∙외국인 등 다양한 집객 요소를 갖추고 있어 오픈 초기에 버금가는 화제를 불러일으킬 것으로 기대된다. 서울역 점포는 영업면적 488.3㎡, 162석으로 국내 파이브가이즈 매장 중 가장 큰 규모다.
