아모레퍼시픽(대표 서경배 김승환)이 9월 29일부터 10월 3일까지 프랑스 칸에서 열린 ‘2025 세계면세박람회(TFWA World Exhibition & Conference)’에 참가했다. 2012년 첫 참가 이후 12회째 참가로 글로벌 면세 시장 공략에 적극적으로 나서고 있다.
세계면세박람회는 세계면세협회(TFWA, Tax Free World Association)가 주관하는 세계 최대 규모의 면세 박람회로, 글로벌 면세 업계 관계자들이 한자리에 모이는 행사다. 아모레퍼시픽은 이번 박람회에서 설화수, 라네즈, 헤라 등 주요 브랜드를 포함한 총 9개 브랜드의 대표 제품을 선보이고, 글로벌 TOP10 면세점을 포함한 50여 개 파트너사와 비즈니스 미팅을 진행하며 글로벌 네트워킹을 강화했다. 최근 라네즈의 미주·유럽 시장 성과를 토대로 신규 시장 공략을 본격화하기 위한 자리가 꾸준히 이어졌다.
아모레퍼시픽 TR(Travel Retail) 디비전 박두배 상무는 “AI 기반 면세 비즈니스와 여행 문화의 변화로 글로벌 면세 시장 또한 빠르게 변하고 있다”며, “이번 박람회를 통해 신규 시장 진출과 기존 시장 주도권 확보에 주력하고, 파트너사와 돈독한 협력을 통해 글로벌 여행객들이 더 많은 곳에서 아모레퍼시픽을 만날 수 있게 하겠다”고 밝혔다.
현재, 아모레퍼시픽은 국내를 포함한 글로벌 19개 국가, 25개 면세 유통사, 240여 개의 면세 매장에서 글로벌 고객을 만나고 있다. 작년 미국 뉴욕 JFK 공항, 프랑스 파리 샤를드골 공항 매장 론칭을 시작으로 올해는 프랑스, 영국, 독일, 벨기에, 덴마크, 오스트리아, 노르웨이, 헝가리 등 유럽 권역의 핵심 공항에 라네즈 매장을 신규 오픈하는 등 글로벌 면세 시장 확장에 주력하고 있다.
