제이앤케이코퍼레이션(대표 곽한별, 심희원)의 노운베러(KNOWN BETTER)가 빠른 성장세를 보이며 브랜드 영향력을 확대해 나가고 있다.

제이앤케이코퍼레이션은 2019년 첫 번째 브랜드 ‘틸아이다이(TILLIDIE)’를 론칭한 이후 지난 2023년 말, 세컨 브랜드 ‘노운베러’를 론칭했다. 틸아이다이는 ‘Stay with you for a long time’이라는 브랜드 슬로건을 통해 시간이 지나도 변하지 않는 클래식함을 현대적으로 재해석한 아이템들을 선보이고 있다.

노운베러 또한 클래식한 아이템을 브랜드만의 시각으로 해석해 섬세한 디테일과 감각을 더한 스타일을 제안해 주목받고 있다. 이 두 브랜드에 차이점이 있다면 노운베러의 경우, 조금 더 데일리하고 캐주얼한 무드를 강조해 시니컬하게 풀어냈다는 것이다. 타깃 연령층도 틸아이다이는 40대 초반까지, 노운베러는 30대 초반까지로 더욱 영(YOUNG)한 감성이 특징이다.

지난 2월, 두께감 있는 니트와 점퍼류 등의 봄 컬렉션 제품을 1차로 발매했다

이번 2025년 봄 시즌을 맞아 노운베러는 ‘미스터리, 시니컬, 런웨이’라는 키워드를 중심으로 컬렉션을 출시했다. 일상에서 부담 없이 착용할 수 있는 베이직한 아이템에 트렌디한 실루엣, 디테일로 브랜드만의 감성을 담아냈다. 또한, 다양한 스타일링이 가능하도록 활용도를 높였다.

재킷, 두께감 있는 니트, 점퍼류의 아이템들은 지난 2월 14일 1차로 발매됐으며 티셔츠, 셔츠, 이너티 등 추운 기온이 풀린 후에 안성맞춤인 얇고 가벼운 의류 제품은 이달 3월 2차로 발매될 예정이다.

현재 출시된 봄 컬렉션 내에서는 데일리 캐주얼룩에 어울리는 깔끔한 실루엣의 ‘Soft vegan suede jacket Brown’과 소프트한 터치감의 ‘Soft touch eco leather jumper’, 부드러운 착용감과 컬러를 통해 여성스러운 무드를 연출한 ‘Romantic hachi knit sleeveless cardigan set Gray’가 주목받고 있다. 이외에도 2023 FW에 출시된 ‘3onz warm quilting jumper Navy’ 등도 꾸준히 인기다.

노운베러는 온라인 유통의 경우 자사몰, W컨셉, 29CM, 무신사, 하고, 롯데온, LF MALL, 네이버스토어 총 8개 플랫폼에 입점돼 판매되고 있다. 오프라인은 29CM에서 운영 중인 큐레이션 공간 ‘이구갤러리’ 서울과 대구점에 구성돼 고객 접점을 늘려가고 있다.

2024년 1월 5일부터 약 두 달간 진행된 이구 갤러리 팝업에서 노운베러는 입점 브랜드 중 매출 1위를 기록할 정도로 긍정적인 성과를 얻었고 이를 기반으로 올해 1월 27일 다시 한번 이구 갤러리 서울과 대구에서 팝업스토어를 열었다. 최근에는 봄 컬렉션 제품을 입고해 2월 중순 기준 입점 브랜드 1위를 유지하고 있다.

노운베러는 의류 외에도 모자 등 다양한 카테고리 확장을 목표로 하고 있다. 오프라인 유통망 확대 및 글로벌 확장에도 목표를 두고 해외 시장 진출도 계획 중이다. 나아가, 지속적으로 브랜드의 정체성을 유지하면서도 다양한 고객층과 소통할 수 있는 유통 채널을 확대해 나갈 예정이다.

한편, 제이앤케이코퍼레이션은 올해 150% 성장을 목표로 한다. 기존 브랜드 틸아이다이는 현재 4개의 매장을 운영하고 있으며 올해 도산·한남에 플래그십 스토어를 오픈할 계획이다. 또한, 자사몰 글로벌화, 온라인 입점몰인 ‘W컨셉 USA’, ‘무신사 글로벌’ 등을 활용해 해외 시장 진출에 적극 나설 계획이다.

더불어, 앞선 두 브랜드보다 영(YOUNG)한 타깃층을 대상으로 한 러블리 캐주얼 기반의 브랜드 ‘프리버07(FRIVER07)’을 이달 3월 론칭할 예정이어서 다시 한번 기대를 모으고 있다.
