대표 사례로 ‘킴스미(KIMSMI)’의 신라 금관 주얼리 단독 에디션이 있다. 이 프로젝트는 사전 알림 신청자 수가 약 3천 명에 육박했고, 누적 펀딩액 1억 3천만 원을 돌파했다. 신라시대 금관총을 모티브로 브로치·목걸이·귀걸이를 선보인 이번 펀딩은 기존 디자인에 에메랄드 컬러 큐빅을 더한 브로치를 와디즈 단독으로 선보이며 상품 차별화를 시도했고, 준비된 수량이 프로젝트 오픈 이틀 만에 전량 소진됐다.
또한 미국 등 영미권 서포터의 참여가 이어지며 해외에서도 관심을 모았다. 케이팝 데몬 헌터스 등 K콘텐츠의 글로벌 흥행과 맞물려, 한국 전통 문화를 현대적으로 풀어낸 굿즈에 대한 관심이 해외로도 확산되고 있다는 분석이다. 이에 메이커들은 해외 반응을 빠르게 확인하고 초기 수요를 검증하는 새로운 판로로 와디즈 펀딩을 활용하고 있다.

한편, 와디즈는 내년 1월 석굴암 보존불상을 모티브로 한 신규 굿즈 프로젝트를 선보일 예정으로, 박물관 굿즈 라인업을 확대해 나갈 예정이다.
