현대백화점그룹 ICT전문기업 현대퓨처넷(대표 김성일)은 자체 개발한 AI 기반 쇼핑 어시스턴트 ‘헤이디(Heydi)’가 ‘AI서비스어워드 2025’에서 쇼핑 부문 대상을 수상했다고 19일 밝혔다.
헤이디는 현대퓨처넷이 업계 최초로 개발한 인공지능(AI) 쇼핑 어시스턴트로, 현대백화점의 매장·상품·편의시설·이벤트 등 다양한 정보를 생성형 AI가 실시간 학습해 고객 취향에 맞게 큐레이션 해준다.AI서비스어워드는 사단법인 한국인터넷전문가협회가 주최해 기술 혁신성과 서비스 활용도를 기준으로 수상작을 선정하는 행사로, 헤이디는 오프라인 리테일 환경에서 구현된 최초의 생성형 AI 모델이라는 점에서 기술 혁신성을 인정 받았다.
헤이디는 자연어 기반의 대화형 인터페이스를 통해 고객의 의도·시간·위치·행동 목적을 해석해 복합 요구를 동시에 처리하는 것이 특징이다. 또한, 한국어와 영어·중국어를 비롯해 아랍어·태국어 등 난도 높은 언어까지 총 10여 개국 언어로 서비스된다. 별도의 앱 설치 없이 QR코드 스캔 방식으로 서비스를 이용할 수 있도록 해 이용 편의성도 높였다.
현대퓨처넷은 헤이디 개발 경험을 바탕으로 공항·호텔 등 다양한 오프라인 공간에서 활용 가능한 AI 서비스도 선보인다는 방침이다.
여기에 외국인 대상 관광 콘텐츠 추천 서비스와 외부 채널 연동도 추진할 계획이다.현대퓨처넷 관계자는 “헤이디는 오프라인 환경을 이해하는 생성형 AI로, 쇼핑 전 과정에서 고객의 요구를 함께 ‘생각해주는’ 서비스로 진화하고 있다”며 “앞으로도 유통·관광·교통 등 더 넓은 산업에서 초개인화 경험을 제공하기 위한 기술 고도화를 지속 추진해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
