현대백화점그룹 관계자는 이번 정기 임원 인사에 대해 “대내외 경영 불확실성이 지속되고 있는 상황을 감안해 백화점, 홈쇼핑, 그린푸드 등 주력 계열사 경영진을 유임시켜 변화보다는 경영 안정성에 방점을 뒀다”며 “이런 기조 속에 조직 분위기를 쇄신해 본업 경쟁력을 강화해 나가겠다는 의미도 담겨 있다”고 밝혔다.
또한, 이 관계자는 “급변하는 사업환경에 유연하고 민첩하게 대응할 수 있는 참신하고 유능한 차세대 리더를 적재적소에 중용해, 미래 혁신과 지속 성장 기반을 공고히 해 나갈 것”이라고 덧붙였다.
