한국도미노피자(대표 김영훈)가 순직, 공상 경찰관 자녀들을 지원하기 위한 장학금 5천 만원을 경찰청 재단법인인 ‘참수리 사랑’에 전달했다.
이번 순직공상 경찰관 자녀 장학금 전달식은 지난 10월 14일 경찰청에서 한국도미노피자의 김영훈 대표이사와 경찰청 재단법인 ‘참수리 사랑’의 박노아 운영위원장 등이 참가한 가운데 진행했다. 이번에 전달된 5천 만원의 장학금은 순직, 공상 경찰관들의 자녀들을 위해 사용될 예정이다.
한국도미노피자는 이번 순직, 공상 경찰관 자녀들을 위한 장학금 전달 외에도 지난 9월 22일에는 나라를 위해 순직 공상한 군인 자녀를 위해 호국장학재단을 통해 5천 만원의 장학금을 전달했다.
한편 도미노피자는 오는 10월 20일부터 21일까지 우리의 안전한 일상을 책임지는 경찰, 경찰 근무 일반 공무원, 경찰 가족들을 대상으로 방문 포장 50%를 할인해주는 히어로즈데이 프로모션을 진행할 예정이다.
한국도미노피자 관계자는 “앞으로도 한국도미노피자는 자신보다 국가와 사회를 위해 희생하신 분들을 위해 다양한 지원활동을 꾸준히 기획해서 실천해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
