코엑스, ‘2025 푸드위크 코리아’…42개국 950개사 1,532부스 참가

코엑스(사장 조상현)가 지난 29일부터 11월 1일까지 진행한 하반기 최대 식품 종합 전시회 ‘2025 푸드위크 코리아(제20회 서울국제식품산업전)’의 전시 및 부대행사를 마치고 1일 성황리에 막을 내렸다.

이번 ‘푸드위크 코리아’는 20주년을 맞아 ‘FOOD RE:DEFINED(푸드 리:디파인드) 식탁:혁명’을 주제로 다양한 식품 트렌드와 푸드테크를 선보였다. 올해 전시에는 42개국 950개사가 1,532부스로 참가했으며, 나흘간 약 5만 5천 5백 명의 관람객이 방문해 높은 관심 속에 막을 내렸다. 전시 기간 중 더플라츠(The Platz)에서 열린 ‘2025 K-푸드+ 바이어 초청 수출상담회(BKF+)’는 K-푸드의 세계적 확산과 해외 바이어와 수출 기업 간 파트너십 강화를 목표로 운영됐다. 1,649회의 상담이 진행되었으며 상담액이 1억 1천만 달러(약 1573억 7천만 원), 현장에서 계약된 MOU는 약 1천 2백만 달러(약 171억 6천만 원)에 달해 비즈니스 네트워킹을 형성하는 소통의 장 역할을 톡톡히 했다.

글로벌 빅바이어 상담회에서 251건이 매칭된 가운데 미국 대형 바이어와 국내 간편식품 업체간 실수출계약이 체결됐다. 또한 해외 참가업체 비즈니스 매칭은 210건 성사되었으며 국내 식품 유통사 입점 상담은 총 350건, 상담규모는 약 468억 7천만 원으로 집계되었다.

이번 ‘푸드위크 코리아’에서는 세계적으로 주목받고 있는 K-푸드 관련 부스들이 대거 운영되며 관람객뿐 아니라 해외 바이어들의 높은 관심을 모았다. 한국인이 즐겨먹는 김을 활용한 김 소스와 고추장, 쌈장 소스를 한국적인 디자인으로 패키징한 다양한 부스가 참가하며 방문객들의 흥미를 끌었다.

식품회사 농심, 삼양식품, 팔도의 K-소스를 맛볼 수 있는 ‘하우스 오브 소스 특별관’은 한국인뿐만 아니라 외국인들에게도 뜨거운 관심을 받으며 긴 줄이 이어졌다.A홀은 ‘국내&해외 종합식품관’으로 해외 식품 기업의 다양한 먹거리를 시식할 수 있는 자리가 마련돼 방문객들에게 새로운 맛을 선사했다. 또한 ‘헬시 플레저’ 트렌드에 맞춰 ‘헬시플레저 컬렉션’이 운영되면서 방문객들의 발길이 끊임없이 이어졌다.

B홀에서는 방문객들을 위한 이벤트 부스 ‘쩝쩝박사들의 입맛연구소’가 진행되어 다수 방문객들이 부스를 찾았다. 또한 차와 어울리는 페어링 푸드, 다양한 디카페인 커피 등을 맛볼 수 있는 ‘고메&스페셜티 푸드 컬렉션’과 프리미엄 주류 특별관인 ‘주류 더 라운지(The Lounge)’도 방문객들의 많은 관심을 받았다.

C홀은 ‘호레카(HORECA) & K-푸드테크관’으로 호텔, 외식, 급식 산업에 사용되는 푸드테크를 선보였다. 애벌 식기 세척기, 인덕션 기기 등 신기술이 접목된 제품이 전시됐다. 이 밖에 부대행사인 ‘2026 식품외식산업전망’, ‘AI-푸드테크 컨퍼런스 2025’, ‘스마트 급식 마스터 클래스’ 등 다양한 미래 식품 산업을 다룬 컨퍼런스와 세미나도 함께 진행되었다.

푸드위크 코리아 사무국은 “20주년을 맞아 올해는 각 전시장 홀별로 차별화된 주제와 기획관을 선보였는데, 방문객들의 호응이 높아 기쁘다. 특히 이번 전시가 식품 산업 전반에 대한 인사이트를 얻는 장으로 활용되어 뜻깊다”라며 “푸드위크 코리아는 지난 20년간 식품 산업의 새로운 비즈니스 기회를 창출하는 대표 플랫폼으로 성장해 왔으며 앞으로도 국내외 식품 교류의 중심 역할을 충실히 수행해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
