행사 첫째 날인 8월 11일에는 저출산·고령화로 인한 구조적 변화에 대응하여 고용, 교육, 재정, 금융 등 각 분야가 연계된 지속 가능한 시스템 구축 방안이 논의된다. 또한 여성, 고령층, 장애인 등 모든 세대와 계층의 경제적 참여를 보장하는 정책적 방안을 모색하고, 고령 사회의 삶의 질 향상 및 새로운 경제적 기회 창출을 위한 디지털 보건기술 및 돌봄 서비스 혁신 방안도 다뤄질 예정이다.

한편, 인구 변화 대응과 AI 협력 두 주제를 청년세대의 관점에서 바라보는 특별세션 ‘지속 가능한 내일을 위한 청년들의 목소리(Youth Voices for a Sustainable Tomorrow)’도 양일간 진행된다. 지난 5월 30일부터 6월 30일까지 공모를 통해 선발된 청년 발표자들이 인구와 기술 변화에 따른 도전과 기회에 관한 정책 제언을 발표할 예정이다.
