코오롱인더스트리FnC부문(이하 코오롱FnC)이 전개하는 컨테이너 복합쇼핑몰 ‘커먼그라운드’가 개장 6주년을 기념하여 7월까지 순차적으로 MD개편을 단행한다.

인도네시아 음식으로 유명한 반둥식당은 동남아시아의 분위기를 자아내는 인테리어를 추가하여 색다른 모습의 커먼그라운드를 즐길 수 있게 되었다. 4월 오픈한 홍콩식 포차 ‘중경삼림’과 더불어 기존 내슈빌 스타일의 핫 치킨버거로 유명한 ‘핱버드’ 등과 함께 세계 곳곳의 음식을 즐길 수 있게 되었다.
커먼그라운드는 ‘스트리트 마켓(SM)’동과 ‘마켓홀(MH)동’으로 구성되어 있다. SM동은 이번 개편을 통해 편집샵의 기능을 더욱 강화한다는 계획이다. 특히, 미국 최대 신발 편집숍인 ‘풋락커’가 SM동 1층에 약 150평 규모로 7월 오픈 예정이다.
커먼그라운드가 직접 운영하는 셀렉트 숍도 트렌디한 브랜드들을 한 눈에 볼 수 있도록 개편했다. 기존에 고객들의 사랑을 받아온 스트리트 무드의 브랜드는 유지하면서, ‘비헤비어’, ‘그라미치’, ‘와일드띵스’와 같은 워크웨어 콘셉트의 브랜드도 아우르게 되었다. 제주도 로컬 향 브랜드인 ‘이기소’, 세라믹 브랜드 ‘르디쉬’ 등이 입점하여 색다른 라이프스타일 브랜드도 강화했다.
MH동은 최근 트렌드를 한눈에 볼 수 있도록 개편 중에 있다. 지난 4월 아이웨어 브랜드 ‘애쉬크로프트’와 세컨핸드 빈티지샵의 오픈을 시작으로, 5월에는 리빙 컬쳐 콘셉트 스토어 ‘SOFTVIM(소프트빔)’이 마켓홀 3층에 자리를 잡았다.
소프트빔은 인테리어 디자이너 이소선이 모스가든 ‘소선취향(sosun favorite)’에 이어 오픈한 매장으로, 최근 트렌드로 자리잡은 컨템포러리 모던 가구와 조명, 다양한 오브제와 인테리어 소품을 판매한다. 한정판 상품의 리셀 플랫폼인 ‘크림(KREAM)’의 오프라인 접수센터와 스포츠 브랜드 ‘언더아머’가 6월 오픈을 예정하고 있으며, 기본 ‘컨버스’ 매장은 확장 오픈한다는 계획이다.
