산업통상부와 한국패션협회는 12월 3일(수) 오후 4시 서울 대치동 섬유센터에서 패션산업 관계자 200여 명이 참석한 가운데 ‘2025년 대한민국 패션대상’ 행사를 성황리에 개최했다. 주요 참석자에는 조국혁신당 김재원 의원, 산업부 박동일 산업정책실장, 패션협회 성래은 회장, 백화점협회 김형열 부회장, 섬유산업연합회 주소령 부회장, 패션산업 유공자 등이 참석해 자리를 더욱 빛냈다.
올해로 18회째를 맞은 ‘코리아(대한민국) 패션 대상’은 한국 패션 산업의 글로벌 경쟁력 강화에 기여한 유공자를 포상하고 유망 신진 디자이너를 발굴, 지원하는 국내 최고 권위의 패션 분야 시상식이다.
특히 2025년은 한국패션협회 창립 40주년을 기념하는 뜻깊은 해로, 이번 행사는 ｢코리아패션대상｣, ｢패션봉제산업인상｣, 그리고 국내 최고 권위의 신진 디자이너 콘테스트인 ｢K-패션오디션(대한민국 패션대전)｣ 등 3개 부문으로 진행됐다.
이날 행사에서는 패션산업 발전에 기여한 유공자 13명에게 정부 포상이 수여됐으며, 이 중 ㈜LF의 김상균 대표이사와 ㈜안다르의 공성아 대표이사가 최고 영예인 대통령 표창을 수상했다.
김상균 대표는 디지털 전환과 해외시장 개척, 브랜드 다각화를 주도하며 LF의 체질 개선과 성장 전략을 이끌었고, 패션사업의 수익성 회복과 K-패션의 글로벌 경쟁력 강화에 크게 기여한 공로를 인정받았다.
공성아 대표이사는 전략적 리더십과 마케팅 역량을 바탕으로 안다르의 급성장과 글로벌 시장 확장을 이끌면서 K-애슬레저 산업의 위상을 높이는 데 기여했다는 평가를 받았다.
이 외에도 ㈜김인태김해김 김인태 대표이사, 키미제이 김희진 대표, ㈜스튜디오에이엠티 이명수 대표이사가 국무총리 표창을 수상했으며, ㈜포터리 김건우 대표이사, 주식회사 위고페어 김종면 대표이사, 주식회사 아크메드라비 구진모 대표이사, 주식회사 엘로우(로제패턴) 여혜은 대표이사, 주식회사 더캐리 정은미 이사가 산업통상부장관 표창을 수상했다. 패션봉제 산업인 부문에서는 하우투피엔지 서법룡 대표 등 3명이 산업통상부 장관표창을 수상했다.
K-패션오디션 대상은 BLR 권봉석 대표, 101대 1 경쟁 뚫어
패션 디자인 분야에서 유일하게 대통령상이 수여되는 국내 최고 권위의 콘테스트인 K-패션오디션(대한민국 패션대전) 시상도 함께 이루어졌다.
챌린저 부문에서 101대 1의 높은 경쟁률을 뚫고 대상(대통령상)의 영광은 독창적인 브랜드 아이덴티티와 글로벌 성장 가능성에서 최고점을 받은 비엘알(BLR)의 권봉석 대표가 안았다. 권봉석 대표는 수상 소감에서 “앞으로 해외로 더 나아가는 한국 브랜드가 되도록 열심히 하겠다”는 포부를 밝혔다.
금상(국무총리상)은 애프터프레이의 박인준·조성빈 대표가 수상했고, 박인준 대표는 “글로벌 컨템퍼러리 브랜드로 성장해 나가겠다”는 포부를 전했다. 은상(산업통상부 장관상)은 2000아카이브스 홍다은 디자이너와 울트라스 최진호 디자이너가 각각 수상했다.
이날 행사에서는 본선 진출자 9팀의 의상 30점을 선보이는 패션쇼가 펼쳐졌으며, 국립 발레단 수석 무용수 출신 김주원 예술 감독이 연출을 맡아 K-패션과 K-발레, K-밴드의 조화를 보여주며 K-컬처의 힘을 과시했다.
국회와 정부, K-패션 글로벌 지원 약속
이날 시상식에 참석한 주요 내빈들은 K-패션의 위상 제고와 향후 산업 발전을 위한 지원을 약속했다.
성래은 한국패션협회 회장은 “2025년은 한국패션협회 창립 40주년을 기념하는 해”라며, “섬유패션산업은 AI 등 기술 변화 속에서도 기술과 인간의 감성 조화를 통해 지속 가능하고 활력 있는 미래로 나아갈 수 있다”고 강조했다. 또한 협회가 추진해 온 다양한 사업과 활동이 K-패션의 글로벌 경쟁력 강화를 위한 든든한 기반이 되었다고 밝혔다.
조국혁신당 김재원 의원은 “우리 패션 산업이 이제 하나의 유행이나 소비 트렌드를 넘어, 대한민국 문화의 정체성과 창의성을 세계에 알리는 중요한 동력으로 자리 잡았다”며 패션 산업인들의 헌신에 감사를 표했다. 김 의원은 특히 “창작자들이 안정적으로 도전하고, 기업이 세계 시장에 진출 할 수 있는 환경을 만드는 일에 국회가 보다 능동적으로 역할을 하겠다”고 의지를 밝혔다.
산업부 박동일 산업정책실장은 “K-패션은 우리 문화의 독창성과 고유한 미의식을 세계에 알리며 국가 브랜드 가치를 높이는 데 크게 기여해왔다”고 노고에 감사하며, “글로벌 시장 진출 및 국내 패션산업 기반 강화를 위해 디자이너‧제조업체간 협력 강화, AI 기반 섬유·패션 제조공급망 구축 등 다각적으로 지원해나가겠다”고 약속했다. 산업부는 K-패션의 스마트화를 촉진하기 위해 2028년까지 100억 원 규모의 재정을 투입할 계획임을 밝혔다.
K-패션오디션 수상자 전원에게는 내년도 브랜드 지원사업 프로그램 참여 특전과 총 약 8,200만 원 규모의 비즈니스 바우처(유통 연계, 해외 전시회 참가, 컨설팅 및 홍보 등 맞춤형 지원)가 지원될 예정이다.
